Friend’s Cat Looks Just Like Jim Gaffigan

Approximately two years ago, Reddit user, Benzorgz, made a fascinating discovery. His friend’s cat looks just like Jim Gaffigan. In fact, when you look at this orange feline, you can almost hear Gaffigan’s deadpan comedic voice. Unfortunately, we don’t know the cat’s name, backstory, or how his life has changed since this revolution. We can only be thankful that someone thought to put his picture on the internet. 

Jim Gaffigan Was Told He Looks Like This Cat By 4 People

In a surprising turn of events, Jim Gaffigan himself has been informed by no less than four people that he bears a striking resemblance to a particular cat on the internet. He tweeted (or rather, posted on X), about this revelation on August 25th, 2021, writing “I’ve only been told I look like this cat by 4 people. Come on Twitter”, obviously disappointed that more people hadn’t noticed the resemblance. And honestly, we completely, agree Jim. More people should have noticed.

Next, we have a brilliant post from X user, Royal Rebel. Here, you’ll see a cat that bears a striking resemblance to Jim Gaffigan. Nevertheless, one comedic genius (we’re not sure if it was Royal Rebel or someone else) decided to put Jim Gaffigan-like glasses on the picture of the cat, and bam, it’s hard to tell who’s who!

If a Cat was Jim Gaffigan

If you’ve ever wondered what a cat would look like if it was Jim Gaffigan, wonder no more. Imgur user, RobotDriver, came across a cat on Reddit that looks exactly like the famous comedian, but with a little less facial hair. RobotDriver even provided a picture of Gaffigan to cross-reference, and they couldn’t be more right: the cat looks just like a mini version of Jim.

Apparently, cats that look like Jim Gaffigan aren’t a new phenomenon. Way back in August of 2018, then Twitter user, Emily Ferretti posted a cross-reference picture of a dapper orange cat next to Jim Gaffigan. She writes, “About a year ago I met this cat that looks just like @JimGaffigan and today I can’t stop thinking about it.”

We completely understand, Emily. We wouldn’t be able to get it out of our minds, either.
