Know what the worst part of my day is? It’s not getting out of bed, that’s the second worst part of my day. The first is leaving my dog and hearing him bark and whimper for me to come back. That’s the worst part of my day. It’s not so much the barking, but the whimpering he lets out knowing that he won’t see me for 8 hours. So lately, I’ve started testing a dog fence window. Yup, a small hole that is etched into my fence to let my dog peak out into the world and enjoy the outside while I’m away.
A Dog Window of Happiness
Since installing the dog fence window in my home, I’ve noticed my dog is much happier. I’ve seen him wag his tail as I leave. I don’t hear that dreadful whimpering or barking. I also noticed his excitement when I come home as he sees my car pull up. Even better, giving dogs the change to see what’s on the other side of the fence helps eliminate a lot of the unnecessary barking. These dog fence windows are built to help anxious dogs control their excessive barking.
Most dog windows for fences will run you around $30.
