Fast Food Treats for Dogs

Aside from running a dog blog, I’m an avid food. My yelp account is poppin’. I’ve also noticed that throughout my travels, I’ve found plenty of fast food chains that serve dog-friendly treats. While not all food is healthy, these treats are dog-friendly and won’t cause any harm.

1. Puppuccino – Starbucks

Next time your sipping down on your favorite brew, ask for a Puppuccino. Served in a expresso cup, this shot of whipped cream provides a nice fast food treat for your dogs. However, dogs that are lactose, should likely avoid this one.

Yes Becky!

2. Shake Shack Treats

Shake Shack burgers are one of my favs. And while I try to avoid my dog eating my fallen fries, I do enjoy the dog-friendly menu items. Their Bag o’ Bones provides 5 doggie-bone biscuits for your dog to enjoy while you inhale that burger. Meanwhile, the Pooch-ini is a custard snack with peanut butter sauce and topped with dog biscuits, making this the perfect summer dog snack.

3. Sprinkles Cupcakes

Originating in Beverly Hills, LA natives know, rave and swear by Sprinkles. Hell, they got so big, they started a whole Sprinkles ATM that provided on-demand cupcakes. The store’s success even lead to the creation of their now famous Pupcakes. Each pupcake comes in a sugar-free variant and topped with a yogurt frosting.

4. In-N-Out’s Pup Patty

When I first discovered In-N-Out Pup Patty, I had a legit excuse to go get a burger for myself and my dog. Since regular In-N-Out burgers come filled with added sodium, these Pup Patties come in a salt-free variety, making it one of our favorite fast food treats for dogs.

5. Johnny Rocket’s Pup Burger

Made just for your four-legged friend, Jonny Rocket’s serves pup-friendly burgers, cut to perfection and served with a side of water. Next time I go, I won’t feel so guilty eating while my dog watches.

Cait Morton of HypePets

Meet Cait - a lifelong animal lover who has had furry (and scaly) companions by her side since childhood. She's had it all, from family pets to caring for class reptiles during school breaks, to even owning her first horse at just 12 years old. She swears that her late soul dog, Mocha, helped her survive her Business Management degree. Cait has spent over a decade working in animal shelters, doing everything from taking care of furry friends to running the show as an assistant manager, to providing guidance as a board member. She's got a serious case of the animal welfare bug, and she's not afraid to use it! When she's not busy saving animals, Cait is known for being one-half of the 'Mortons on the Move' RV and travel blog and YouTube channel. She stars alongside her husband, Tom, on the Discovery and PBS TV show 'The RVers'. She and Tom, along with their two rescue dogs Luna and Solar, travel full-time by RV and explore all that the world has to offer. Cait started HypePets because of her passion for pets and her love for rescue dogs and cats. She wants to make a difference by helping new adopters ease their furry friends' transition into their new homes. So join her in the wonderful world of pets, and let's make a difference together!
