For many brands, the stiff competition in the dog market leads to both closures and acquisitions. For Pawkier , though, being recently acquired by Fresh Pawz, known as the official streetwear brand for dogs, couldn’t have been better.
New Acquisition – Same Creative Direction
Pawkier, for those who don’t know, gained popularity thanks to its collection of hoodies, jackets and dog leashes inspired by the most revered streetwear brands. Everything Pawkier did – from its dope lifestyle photography to its content–oozed streetwear. As for Pawkier, the brand name will remain. For Fresh Pawz, the acquisition gives it more dominance in product categories it was originally lacking.
More importantly for Fresh Pawz, the acquisition allows it to continue to grow Pawkier’s collection of hoodies, leashes and content. The acquisition can continue to grow the streetwear category for dogs for years to come and it should be good to keep an eye out for what Fresh Pawz creates for Pawkier.
